Dear colleagues,

It is our great pleasure to announce the 38th Symposium of Oncology Nurses and Technicians of the Republic of Serbia, organized under the auspices of the Chamber of
Nurses and Technicians, to be held at the Sava Center in Belgrade, traditionally as part of the 62nd Oncology Week (November 12–15, 2025).

The plenary program of this year’s Symposium will take place through three round table sessions:

1. Prevention, treatment, and nursing care of patients with malignant diseases of female reproductive organs
2. The importance of TBI (total body irradiation) in hematology patients – our experiences
3. Targeted therapy – an innovative approach to the treatment of malignant diseases: the role of the oncology nurse in achieving better treatment outcomes

In addition to the plenary lectures, the Symposium will also include numerous oral presentations within the round table “Experiences in Clinical Practice of Oncology Nurses and Technicians” (open topics), where participants from the Republic of Serbia and neighboring countries will present their professional experiences and examples from practice, highlighting innovative approaches in treatment, patient care, and oncology nursing.

Our goal this year is to bring together as many nurses, technicians, and other healthcare professionals from Serbia and the region as possible, to exchange experiences from all areas of this important and extensive field of medical and public health activity. For many years, the Symposium has provided participants with the opportunity to gain new knowledge, actively participate in oral and poster presentations, and engage in discussions and sessions that contribute to the advancement of oncology nursing.
